Masturbation Habits and their Effect on Premature Ejaculation
If you're like most men then when you were younger you probably didn't have all the freedom in the world to masturbate. Maybe your mother could pop into your room at any time, or maybe you had a brother or sister that could come barging into your bedroom at any moment or maybe you were living in some kind of community where there really wasn't any privacy.
Most likely you were just like most other guys and you did not have the complete freedom and privacy to do whatever you want. This is why if you had a sudden sexual desire you had only couple things you could do.
1. Of course you can try to masturbate slowly as if you live alone, but there is a huge chance that you are going to get caught by someone.
2. What was more likely to happen was that you would masturbate with an intention to ejaculate as fast possible.
From all my communications with men in teaching them how to last long in bed, my understanding is that most opt for option number 2. Because no one wants to get caught masturbating. And it's the logical thing to do at the time. When teenagers grow into men they usually do not stop trying to ejaculate as soon as possible during masturbation. Because we've done it all our childhood most men just keep masturbating with the aim to orgasm as quickly as possible.
Masturbation habits influence the way your body gets conditioned. If you masturbate right you can have amazing stamina. I really want you understand what I have just said. Masturbating gives you a great opportunity to learn your body better and condition it to prolong ejaculation. Masturbation should be treated less as a way to please yourself and more as a way to train for a real thing.
If you consistently masturbate only for 5 minutes before you reach ejaculation it is unreasonable to expect to last half an hour in sex. This just isn't how the body works. If you want to know how to last long in bed then you've got to realize this fact about masturbation and make the change to the way you do it. It is really easy to slowly change your masturbation habits. Spend at least 20 minutes every time you masturbate and your body will gradually learn how to stop premature ejaculation by itself.
